As the 2009 holiday season approaches, manufacturers will begin again offering more and more rebate offers to help stimulate sales. While this is beneficial for consumers, please be very careful when reading the rebate submission instructions. The instructions are tedious for one reason, if you make a mistake, they don’t have to payout the rebate.
We continue to see an extremely larger number of rebate submissions filled out improperly or consumers forgetting items like the UPC codes from the products purchased. At Rebate Remedy, we strive to help consumers by contacting them if their mail-in rebate submission is incorrect or missing items, however this only delays you getting your money.
PLEASE READ YOU REBATE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY and don’t forget to fill out the Rebate Remedy Assignment and Customer Info forms, so we can expedite you rebate.

I wasn’t sure what I wanted to write about in my first of many blogs entries, but I keep seeing a recurring theme in rebates being submitted to us, so I felt that this was a good place to start. Rebate Remedy is an expediting service for mail-in rebates. We are not related to any other processing company, clearinghouse or manufacturer. Our main goal is getting consumers rebate monies quicker by expediting mail-in rebates. Unfortunately, we do require the all the materials requested in the rebate instructions, plus the Rebate Remedy Assignment and Customer Info forms. But, once we have all of the requested materials and our two forms, we can process your rebate and mail it within days, not weeks or months.
Now as I stated earlier, we continue to see consumers not following the rebate instructions and leaving out required materials, such as the UPC code. If we do not have all the required materials, we will contact you; however, this slows up the process considerably. Please read the rebate instructions carefully and don’t forget our two forms!
Another common inquiry is from consumers who submitted their rebate using another company or clearinghouse who have not received payment. Once you submit your rebate with ANY OTHER PROCESSING COMPANY, we cannot help. You must contact the company or clearinghouse where you submitted the rebate. You must submit your rebate directly to Rebate Remedy to use our expediting service.
We have tried to collect some informative news stories and articles written by columnists and bloggers about navigating the mail-in rebate process. These articles/stories deal with common issues in dealing with mail-in rebates and strategies for success. These can be located at RebateRemedy News.

Thank you for your interest in Rebate Remedy. We wanted to have a blog where we could post news about rebates, manufacturers, products, and basically anything and everything associated with mail in rebates. Rebate Remedy was created from our own frustration associated with mail in rebates. As you can imagine, we receive a lot of rebates and from time to time we will post helpful information that could save you time and money. When mailing your documents to us please double and triple check that you have sent ALL of the required documents to us (including our Assignment and Customer Info forms). As you already know the manufacturers try to make redeeming rebates rather confusing. We are here to help, customer service means the world to us. One final note, if the rebate is expired it is expired and as much as we would like to process it for you we absolutely cannot. If we had a dime for every time we were asked this I would be posting this from my yacht in the French Riviera and not my desk in Delray Beach.
Thanks again,
David Sheriden,
CEO & Co-founder
